Hippity hop!
Here's a quick Easter Bunny sketch in celebration of Easter weekend. Hoppy Easter everyone!
Her Birthday was last weekend so it's safe to post this now. Here's a tiny piece of a Beauty and the Beast name plate I made for my equally beautiful niece.

This little warm-up sketch from this morning was too cute to not share.
Owl-sta la vista, Baby.
Ok, ok. Owl quit now.

Reading in the dark, a warm up sketch
Who hasn't tried to sneak in a little reading after lights out? I know I did! This little elephant has the perfect appendage to hold the flash light while reading in the dark.

A couple of sketches
Been a while since I shared a morning up but wanted to share a bit from my sketchbook. A little mermaid, vampire and fairy, is it halloween yet?

What a month.
I have officially renamed this project "Operation Positive Thoughts".
So this month has been kind of brutal on me. But I'm learning to put myself and those I care about first and let everything else take care of itself.
What I have done during my trying time was cache up a few of these coloring sheets so I don't feel the pressure to have one done everyday. I can feel not as much pressure to work at a comfortable pace and put out blog posts on a regular basis.
What I didn't want to happen was have one or two posts then have the project die on the vine with one or two coloring pages rather than the 20 i had planned. Again this number can grow if I think that it's having enough of a positive impact but I wanted a number I thought I could accomplish but wouldn't be too big of a commitment if I needed to focus else where. I would also like to participate in the #52greetings project but this personal project gets priority. I feel I NEED it more.
It's become really important to me to put these out, with the negative things going on around me, to me that this project not add to those problems. This next one I didn't even do a sketch for! It just came out, and I really like it.
I've also changed the name of the project. I've decided to go with "Operation Positive Thoughts". For some reason I think that name fits it better.
Today's Positive thought. "Bloom Where You Are Planted":

Daily Doodle, #UncleFester
So, as a creative exercise I've decided to challenge myself to complete a daily doodle every day for a week with the option to continue next week if I like. . I like to treat challenges like these as speed trials. I want to see how fast I can put out an illustration that doesn't make me puke/barf/cringe to look at.
Today's Daily Doodle challenge was #UncleFester. Yes, That Uncle Fester. You know, the one from the Adams family series, and the comic/cartoon. I grew up watching The Adams Family, and to a lesser extent their poor cousins The Munsters on Nick at Nite when Nick at Nite mainly showed old tv reruns. Do they still do that?
Anyways, here is my doodle. I hope you like:
I really want to hear what you guys think, so if you have a minute please leave feedback in the comment box below. Thanks!

PippiLongstocking #DailyDoodle
So, here's a last minute #DailyDoodle for the theme #PippiLongstocking; Saw many artist friends posting theirs on facebook and I had to try and squeeze in at least one sketch before bed. it's little rough but I like it. counts for #inktober too. right? I'm so woefully behind on that challenge and want to put myself to complete it. I need to get cracking!
