Make the moment perfect
Another coloring sheet, I was sick so it took me a while to put this one out.
The thought I went with is that you shouldn't wait for the moment to be perfect, you should take the moment and make it perfect.
As always please share it with anyone that could use some positivity or enjoys adult coloring books. Click on the image to download a pdf.

Something Good in Everyday
Another coloring sheet for today. The positive thought I illustrated is "Everyday may not be good but there is something good about everyday."
I did do a sketch for this one since I broke away from the paisley design for this one. I don't know why since it was a looser design I needed to do a bit of planning to get a balanced design. You can find the only sketch I made below.
Below is the final sheet, a pdf you can download and print. As always if you know someone that likes to color for therapy, or needs a bit of positivity in their life feel free to share it with them.

It's a good day to have a good day.
Again there isn't much in the way of process to share on this one. I pretty much made it on the fly inking the text first and then putting the pattern around it. I'm really digging doing the hand lettering.
Below is a link to a pdf. As always please share this if you like, I would really like to bring some positive coloring therapy to other's who may need it.

It's ok to be a glow stick
Today's positive thought is it's ok to break down. Sometimes when you break down it can be your moment to shine, like a glow stick. Here is the coloring page to go with that thought.
It looks like the process for me now is to go straight to inking. These are very fun to put together and seem to take little pre-thought to make. It's kind of a big difference from my other illustration work which normally requires a lot of for thought for the layout, and for the aspects of the illustration. It's almost as therapeutic to draw them as it is to color them!
Anyways, spread the positivity and share this please.

Did it again.
So last night I made another coloring sheet in my 20+ "Operation Positive Thoughts" Project and didn't even sketch it first. It's like these are just falling out of me and photoshop is catching them as fast as it can.
I hope at some point that I'm not the only one to benefit from them but I'm sure as heck glad that they're bringing a little bit of sunshine to my day.
The one I made last night, the one for which there are no process pics, because it just came out no sketching required is about looking for rainbows. Really even when things look bleak there is sometimes a bit of sun poking through and then you have this beautiful thing amongst the grey and depressing stuff. That thought had made me feel really good. Anyways here is the sheet, again if you know someone that would like to color it, please share it with them. I would really like to spread as much positivity around as possible and I can't do that unless more than just me sees and shares these. Not that I'm twisting anyones arm. Just putting some positivity out there and hoping the act itself will bring some back my way.

What a month.
I have officially renamed this project "Operation Positive Thoughts".
So this month has been kind of brutal on me. But I'm learning to put myself and those I care about first and let everything else take care of itself.
What I have done during my trying time was cache up a few of these coloring sheets so I don't feel the pressure to have one done everyday. I can feel not as much pressure to work at a comfortable pace and put out blog posts on a regular basis.
What I didn't want to happen was have one or two posts then have the project die on the vine with one or two coloring pages rather than the 20 i had planned. Again this number can grow if I think that it's having enough of a positive impact but I wanted a number I thought I could accomplish but wouldn't be too big of a commitment if I needed to focus else where. I would also like to participate in the #52greetings project but this personal project gets priority. I feel I NEED it more.
It's become really important to me to put these out, with the negative things going on around me, to me that this project not add to those problems. This next one I didn't even do a sketch for! It just came out, and I really like it.
I've also changed the name of the project. I've decided to go with "Operation Positive Thoughts". For some reason I think that name fits it better.
