Last we saw my little hardworking hamster were in color limbo. After some tweaking the colors came together and I'm very happy to share the final piece with all the shading and detail work in place. Happy Monday morning everyone. Here are some warm up sketches I'm sharing to start the week.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Everyone loves cookies, well most people do. What's even better is when a family makes those cookies together. Check out this new addition to my portfolio, an illustration of a family baking together.  You can view more of my work here.

As a bonus I've included a recipe for chocolate chip cookies. The recipe calls for shortening, please note you should use a trans-fat free shortening.

Moms in Space!

I was dared to draw a "Moms in Space" concept, so here you go. I was really digging the idea of a space stroller too so of course my space mom had to be pushing one.  It's a fun concept I think will eventually end up in my portfolio.

Bee Girl

Sitting in a restaurant last night, I had a major pang of nostalgia when "No Rain"by Blind Melon played on the PA. So here's you 90's Alternative Rock, a quick sketch of the dancing bee girl from Blind Melon's "No Rain".

The illustrator copies for a book I worked on at the end of last year have finally come. I'm always so happy to see final art printed in its book form.
