Another grandmother

Last month when I shared the portrait I made of my Grandmother Nona, I realized I never shared the similar portrait I made months and months ago of my other Grandmother, Doris. I had hoped to share this sooner but things got a little complicated.

The last two weeks have been incredibly rough. I had been recovering from a surgical procedure and on that same day that procedure, I lost my grandfather, Jim, Doris's husband. Plans are in motion to create a portrait commemorating Grandpa Jim, but for now here is the portrait long overdue for sharing.

She's going through an incredibly difficult time right now and I hope she knows how much she's loved.
